Helping in School

There are lots of different ways you can get involved and help in school. We are always looking for volunteers to support in school. If you feel that you could help in any way please speak to either Mrs Gurteen or Mrs Howarth.

We have a small team of parents and grandparents who regularly listen to readers. If you could spare an hour a week or more to listen to readers please speak to either Mrs Gurteen or the class teacher.

Helping in Classrooms

Your help and support in classrooms is always welcomed particularly if the teachers have planned something creative, messy, fun and practical.  More hands make light work!

School Trips

If you are available to support school trips please speak to Mrs Howarth.  Your help is invaluable and ensures our trips can go ahead.

After School Clubs

Could you offer to run or help with an after school club? We are very grateful to the parents who are currently running after school clubs for the pupils.

We have an active PTFA who are always happy to welcome new members. If you would like to come along to the next meeting.

Governing Body

Why not join the local governing body? We currently have vacancies for community governors. If this is of interest to you please speak to Mrs Burton (School Business Officer) or the chair of Siddal Local Governing Body, Sally Moore, for more information.
