We know that some children may be vulnerable at times and, as adults, we have a moral duty to protect them, to ensure their needs are met and to support them and their family. As adults working with children, we have a statutory duty to ensure their safety and the healthy development of all children in our care. As a school community, we are strongly committed to working in close partnership with parents/carers and other agencies. It is everyone's responsibility to 'take special care' to safeguard and promote the welfare of our children.

If you have any concerns about a child or adult, please come and talk to us.

You can find a copy of our Child Protection Procedures and our Safeguarding Policy here.

Designated Safeguarding Lead and Prevent Coordinators are Rebecca Denham (Executive Headteacher), Caroline Howarth (Deputy Headteacher), Sabrina Almas (School Social Worker) and Carol Harper  (Learning Mentor).  The governor responsible for safeguarding is Jane George (Chair of Trustees).
